Can I make changes to my Communication on Progress (CoP) after I submit it? If so, what type of changes are allowed?
If a business participant notices an error in their CoP, they may be able to amend it after submission through the digital platform. However, amendments will only be considered for specific types of errors, requested within 10 days of submission and on a case-by-case basis. The UN Global Compact reserves the right to implement amendments upon request. Types of CoP amendments that will be considered include:
- Corrections of material misstatements.
- Rectification of inaccurate data at the time of submission. This does not include updates based on the availability of more recent information (e.g. appointment of a new Highest-Level Executive or CEO), which should be reflected in the CoP of the following year.
- Replacement/removal of irrelevant supplemental materials uploaded unintentionally.
